Pacemakers sense intrinsic electrical activity through lead electrodes, analyze heart rhythms based on programmed detection parameters, and deliver pacing pulses to treat bradyarrhythmias. The software is intended to provide information which is used to make decisions with diagnostic or therapeutic devices.
